In addition, they negotiated a $75,000 flooring and landscape/hardscape credit from the developer/builder, as well. They were always available throughout the entire process, even weekends. Mr. Hoppe helped me purchase a single-family fixer (a complete dump) located on a multiple-residential lot in Huntington Beach for about $440K as an investment property back in 2004. After the purchase, Mr. Hoppe advised me to get plans drawn-up and permitted without even lifting a hammer. That's something I had never done before. Once purchased, I hired Mr. Hoppe as the architect and within 6 months the plans were approved by the city as a duplex. After permit approval, Mr. Hoppe put his real estate cap back on and listed the fixer-upper with the plans for $700K. Believe it or not, we sold it within 2 months at the asking price. FYI, that's a $200K net profit within 8 months. Mr. Hoppe is the man and his wife Margaret is beautiful.

Wow, where do I begin! I am not even sure James, aka Jim, realizes the positive impact he had on us just to go for it and purchase our first home. Buying our first home is terrifying. My fiancee and I were clueless about the buying process. From the first phone call, Jim Hoppe was professional, polite, informative, and extremely knowledgeable. He did a great job educating us on the process in general.
While going through the process of buying a short sale house we ran into some problems. Jim fought for us every step of the way. He was on top of it and made sure everyone was doing their job to make the process go faster. At times, when I was stressed and nervous trying to close on time, Jim reassured me that things would work out on time and of course they did. Even though I probably called him more times than necessary, he ALWAYS answered the phone. He took the time to answer every little question we had.
I cant express how grateful I am to have met Jim. I can honestly say if it wasnt for his hard work I probably would not have gotten the house of my dreams. THANK YOU sooooo much for everything you did.
